2017 Distinguished Young Woman of Ticonderoga Breanna Brown

The Distinguished Young Women of Ticonderoga is part of a national scholarship program that promotes and rewards scholarship, leadership and talent in young women, promoting support and success.

Cash scholarships are awarded at the local level and millions in college-granted scholarships are available ($1.1 billion nationally). And local winners will advance to the state program in Cohoes, NY where they give away more than $5,000 in cash tuition scholarships.

How to Support Distinguished Young Women of Ticonderoga

There will be a Spaghetti Dinner on September 22, 2017 to benefit the annual Distinguished Young Woman of Ticonderoga Scholarship Program. Eat in or Take Out options will be available from 4:30-7 pm at the American Legion Hall in Ticonderoga. Dinners will include: spaghetti with sauce, salad, roll, and dessert. Cost is $7 per dinner or $25 for a family of 4. All proceeds will benefit the scholarship program. Don’t miss this chance to meet the DYW volunteers and program participants!
