Come on Thursday, April 6, at 5:30 pm to the back dining room of the Hot Biscuit Diner on 14 Montcalm Street in Ticonderoga.

On April 6, Jim Kloiber will present a travelogue “Passport Not Required: Our National Parks” (part 1) at the Adirondack Torch Club. Jim will show slides and chronicle a six-week camping journey that Jim and his wife, Stephanie Wagoner. Inspired by Ken Burns’ PBS documentary in 2010 on National Parks, they created a two-part plan to visit National Parks in the Midwest and Northwest (part 1 in 2014) and the South and Southwest (part 2 in 2016). By the time they completed their trips, they had traveled over eighteen thousand miles.

Jim is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin where he majored in US history and geography. He served in the U.S. Army. After a business career that found him residing in nine different states, he is retired. He and Stephanie have been year-round residents of this area since 2012.
